Luciana Arregui & Andres Laza Moreno (Argentina)
Andres Laza Moreno started dancing when he was 14 years old and soon came to Ballet Zaraza Tango, as he gave his first shows in some of the most important milongas in Buenos Aires. In 2002, he achieved the first role in the gala "Hugo del Carril", one of the most important tango events in the 2000s.
In 2004, Andres managed to enter the highly competitive "Academia de Estilos de Tango Argentino" (ACETA), also known as "Ballet Escuela", a project launched by the Argentinian culture minister to preserve the Argentinean culture of Tangos where The more famous 'maestros' transmitted their knowledge and experience to the new generation of specially selected dancers (http://goo.gl/tqMF5R & http://goo.gl/YwxhlH). That same year he had the great opportunity to work with champion Carlos Gavito as an assistant in his classes.
In October 2006, Andres dance partner joined Samantha Anahi Dispari and gave his first teaching as a tango professional. In that same year, Andres learned to develop and adopt the "Villa Urquiza" style of the Tango Salon with Jorge Dispari and María del Carmen. Andres and Samantha gave classes and workshops and led to Europe in 2007, to Andres first European tour, before collaborating with Isabel Acuña in 2009 and traveled around the world until 2011.
Luciana Arregui was born in Mar del Plata, where she got an early training in jazz dance and artistic gymnastics. In 2006 she moved to Buenos Aires, where she started dancing the Tango. In 2011, she became part of the tango company "Suerte Loca" and began to perform in performances in the theaters. In 2013, Luciana and Andres partners became active and since then they have actively taught and participated in milongas in Buenos Aires as well as abroad.
Since the start of their collaboration in 2013, Andres and Luciana have traveled worldwide to festivals and workshops, taught and promoted the culture of Argentina and Tango with its codes, traditions, music and dance.
